The first 30 people to sign up at the festival will compete for the honor of being the Austin Ice Cream Festival ice cream eating champion. Can you beat 6 and a half minutes? You'd better start practicing now. Sign at the Festival. Not responsible for brain freeze. Must be 18 years or older. $10 per entry. Can you make the best homemade ice cream in town? Bring your recipe and ice cream maker to the festival and pit yourself against others in the coolest contest in town. You must not bring pre-made ice cream but make your ice cream at the festival. $20 per entry.click here for official rules Make anything, yes anything out of popsicle sticks. No pre-notched sticks allowed. Make your creation at home and bring it to the festival or make it at the festival. Get creative and have fun! You can use adhesives and decorations, but the primary building material must be popsicle sticks. Who wants to be the Popsicle Stick Building Champion? All ages welcome. Free to all. How loud do you scream for ice cream? Enter the screaming contest and prove it. Screams will be judged on decible level, style and technique. Sign up at the Festival.
